Rabbits Available For Sale

I'm really trying to cut down. I went through the herd and am deciding who is going to go now, and who will be staying. I have a handful of babies too, variety of colors, fuzzies and woolies. Not sure what I'm keeping if I'm keeping any. I really hate to let them go, but at the moment I need to cut down. I recently got my blood results in and I have Iron Def. Anemia, so sometimes taking care of as many bunnies as I have now is very exausting and starts loosing my intrest in my hobby. Everything is priced to go... please email me at lbbbrabbitry@yahoo.com

Jersey Woolies:

Photobucket
WWR Sleeptalker- Broken Blue Senior Buck(less than 10% coloring)
Sire: LeSage's Charlie- Brkn. Smoke Pearl
Dam: REG. Wooligans Skyler- Blue w/ 2 legs, 1 BIS at fair.
Super cute and small. Wonderful head set and woolcap. Small body, maybe a tad long. He's a little bit of a table hugger. Thin in bone.

Photobucket
WWR Drunky Brewster- REW Junior Buck
Sire: REG. G.C. Wooligans Hamlet- Brkn. Blk Otter w/ 9 legs.
Dam: Wooligans Cleopatra- Opal w/ 5-6 legs.
He's very cute, has a little bit of a 'controlling' additude(he's pushy). Short, lots of depth, full hindquarter to the table. Lovely head set, short open ear.

Photobucket
WWR Hanna Beth- Black Pointed White Junior Doe
Sire: Reg. G.C. Erb's Boulder- Blue w/ 15 legs
Dam: WWR/Dorissa's Kipsie- Lilac Ptd. White
She's also known as "The Last Boulder Baby". She's cute, has a head on the feminine side, but it isn't bad. Short ears, nice shoulder, *tad* catchy in her hip but it doesn't pinch, its also full to the table. Pretty coat coming in! I need a new picture of her.

Photobucket
WWR Jinenji- Black Junior Buck
Sire: Reg. G.C. Wooligans Hamlet- Brkn. Black Otter w/ 9 legs.
Dam: Reg. G.C. Pend.. WWR Pearl- Black w/ 3 legs.
He's a nice buck, great head and ears. Good shoulder, nice hindquarter. Currently a little out of condition. Selling at brood price due to white hairs seen under arm pits as a baby. They haven't come back yet though.

Photobucket
REG WWR Sir Mix A Lot- Siamese Sable Senior Buck
Sire: Reg. G.C. WWR Pee Wee- black otter
Dam: Reg. G.C. Wooligans Party Girl- black otter w/ 7 legs
He has a AWESOME head set. Nice bone. Lots of depth, super short. With that said, he needs some width to body. Nice coat. Beautiful sable coloring...

American Fuzzy Lops:

Photobucket
WWR Handshakes- Blue Fox Junior Buck
Sire: Lucky Lop's Addison- Brkn. Blue Fox
Dam: WWR Carley- Orange w/ 1-2 legs.
He's very cute. Big head(very filled cheeks), short round ears. Tight in the crown, but they rest nicely when put down. Nice short, round body. Would work great in a otter program. Can sell as pet w/o pedigree $20 (unshowable color)

(No picture available)
WWR Dale Jarret- Tort Senior Buck
He's more of pet quality, has a good personality with a super cute head set.

PETS:
Photobucket
WWR Little Bear- Seal Junior Buck
He's cute and sweet, but doesn't have a body.

Photobucket
WWR Dignity- Chestnut Senior Doe (about 2 years old)
She is super cute, very sweet, wonderful personality. Its a shame she has amazing type. But she has butting teeth that need to be clipped every now and then... I'll hate to see her go. =[

I have a handful of babies. This is what I have:
Jersey Wooly: Smoke Pearl, Seal, REW, Blue Creme, Chestnut, Opal, Blue Otter or Martin.

American Fuzzy Lop: Blue Tort, Brkn. Fawn, Brkn. Fox.

Email me at lbbbrabbitry@yahoo.com if intrest in anything. I can send more pictures if wanted, information and prices. Again, cheap prices. I need to move them soon. Can bring to Stockton Mar. 30th.

A Little More than a Average Day

Why I say this is, a couple extra things happened today than a normal day for us.

First, I started my class today. I had to bring home 16 books, man, was that heavy! Things are looking up for me... and I'm feeling a lot better. Its been about 2 weeks or so since I was last sick. Goal! Though, I do have some stomach aches everyonce in a while.

Came home and checked on all my babies... everyone looks good! We have some very colorful babies in the box... I'm exited for them to grow up and see what they look like. The two californian babies fostered to Kitty have gotton points, strangely, the other 7 haven't. I'm patient enough to wait. The Seal and Smoke Pearl from Mayflowers litter are HUGE. I hope they don't go broody. Jita didn't feed her babies or something this morning to I had to pull her out and give her some oats to stay calm and still. The babies got fed, still not sure on colors. 2 solids, 2 brokens. One of the solids got its ear bitten, and looks to be healing somewhat successfully back to the base of the head.

I took a few pictures of Drunky as I wanted to post them with pictures I recently took of Mew. Both are slowly growing and getting better each time I look them over. However, I still can't get over their "narrow" shoulders. Honestly, I'm not sure where thats popping up. Hamlet's shoulders are a *tad* narrow but not as exageratted as these babies shoulders are... I'm going to continue to grow them and see if their shoulders ever improve. Darn. Here's a couple of pics...

As I was finnishing that up, my brother, Morgan, and my Neice Lily come over! It's been a while since I've seen her... now that I don't have a cold of any sort, I can see her again. She was dressed really cute and today I was forced to hold her. I've never really held babies exept when forced to. She was good and wasn't fussy. She is VERY cute, and her hair is getting lighter like mommy and daddys. =P

We both look a little tacky considering mom's doing house work and I'm playing with bunnies. LOL. But, thats fine. =P Lily's three months and getting bigger by the day. Here is Lilly getting ready to leave.

I love that little girl. =]

One last thing, Abby has been doing very well on the show tables. I took a picture with her awards from the last two shows. She has gotton 3 BOB and a BOG on the other show. (four total A&B x 2 = 4 lol.) Anywho, I took a picture of her and her rosettes and metal. She was fussy however, but this is the best picture I got.

WWR Abbygail- REW Senior Doe

She has enough legs to grand her now. I just need to send her legs in to ARBA.

Have a nice day everyone!

A Lot of Firsts

Let's chat a little about March 8, 2008.

March 8, 2008.
This morning, I wake up at 4:45am to get ready for the Rohnert Park show. First, I go out to the rabbit barn and turn on the light and check on Shakira and Party Girl. Shakira is nesting for a litter. This is a first. Her last two litters she doesn't pull or nest, just has a single peanut in a box with just pine shavings as she had eaten up the hay before I had time to give her more.

Photobucket
Shakira is preparing for a litter. 4:50am.

We take four rabbits, 3 woolies and a fuzzy to Rohnert Park. On the way, we pick up Chelsea, a member of our 4-H rabbit group. This is Chelsea's first rabbit show. She was very exited to go. I was too five years ago, when March Hare Youth Show was my first show. =P Brianna attends the show with us also.

Photobucket
Chelsea with her Havana doe, ejoying her first rabbit show.

We arrive and I realize, this is the first year of the March Hare Youth Show being a Double Youth. I'd much rather go to a double show over a single show any day. Fuzzy Lops are up and I put Hobb's Katie up for her very first show. Katie got wonderful comments, however couldn't beat the Senior Does. Looks like Katie want's to fly away out of her coop in these photos:

Photobucket
Photobucket
Katie is on the show table for her first time.

Katie recieves 1/1 both shows and I belive 3/4 in wool both shows. As for the woolies, Abby got Breed and Ammadon Opposite both shows. WWR Abby was entered for the Breeders Class. She was honorable mention as well as three other bunnies. Abby is a really pretty doe. Most of the show I got to sit down and relax, first time this year I accually did it. It was a stress-free show. I enjoy sitting down with friends. =]

Photobucket
Bri, Jenny, and Chelsea chatting and I am behind the camera.

We left about 5:00pm or so, made it home around 6:30pm. I go out, check on Shakira, nothing yet... so I get on the computer and check my mail. A little while later, I go out to feed. I look up and I just see Shakira with a placenta hanging out of her mouth. Yuck. I finnish feeding and check back on her. Shakira had two BIG babies. Might be fetal giants. Darn! We're getting close... Maybe some live healthy babies next time??? I'm happy she passed them so easily.

So, I check on all the other babies before I go to bed. I check Skylers, Mayflowers, Millies, and the fostered babies to Kitty. Then, I check Conejitas. I see a baby in the front, so I pull her box out, look closer. A devoured kit. Not only, the kit has been decappitated. I have my mom pull it out and I'm fine. My mom and I were talking about it and I looked at the remains a little closer, I see a black dot, and carefully take some shavings of it and I'm shunned. I saw a big black spot. Like a bulgy eye. I'm freakishly creeped out. Told my mom not to look at it. But she did. I asked whats wrong and her response was, "Its eyes are open." Me being me, as much as I didn't want to I have to take another look at the head. Its part of experiences. So, I do, and I'm pretty "scarred" by this... I'll admit, it's one of the most abnormal things I've seen. I'm still wigged. Almost scared to go look in Conejitas box again. I've seen much more "discusting" things but this tops it. This is my first "max factor" kit. I've known about the gene, but I still go on Rabbit Habit forums and ask why this is. Looks like Max traces back to Conejita and Addison somewhere long long long along the line.

Well, yesterday is over. Yesterday was full of new things. Good and Bad. We have tons of babies right now. Heres a list:

Millie X Arnold - 9 standard Cals. 2 fostered to Kitty.
Mayflower X Sirmix - 3 babies, 1 seal, 1 smoke pear, 1 REW.
Pia X Moe - 1 baby fostered to Flower, blue creme?
Skyler X Ro - 3 kits(1 peanut) 2 chestnuts, 1 opal?
Addison X Conejita - 4 healthy kits, 2 solid, 2 broken.

Does with unsurviving litters:
Kitty X Sleeptalker - 2 DOA.
Shakira X Mystic - 2 DOA, fetal giants?
Party Girl X Sleeptalker - 1 DOA peanut.

However, I just bred a lot of does. To the few who missed and the few who didn't have lasting litters, will be re-bred soon.

Bred Feb. 25th, 2008.
Addison X Luvlee
Sleeptalker X Cleo
Ro Sham Bo X Pearl

Bred March 2nd, 2008.
Ro Sham Bo X Audrey

Bred March 4th, 2008.
Sleeptalker X Abby

Bred March 6th, 2008.
Mystic X Blue Rain

That is it for now. I'll get some babie pictures up soon! =P I took some, I need to upload them. ;]

A little bit of luck!

Looks like many of us have been getting litters in this new month of March. I'm one of them. =P The last two go-rounds were unsuccessful. I was breeding about 10 does at a time, I'd say the last 20 breedings did not catch(within 2 rounds, 10 does each round). I was surprized! My two Cal does managed to take, but we lost all the babies but four in Vanillas because we are not bottle feeding them. Well, I was pretty desperate for babies. =P So, I bred 14 does within about 6 days. Only 3 misses so far! 4 litters born, only one doe lost hers.

So, heres a updated list of whats going down:
Arnold X Mille = 9 babies born, Feb. 28, 2008 (Californians)

Reg. WWR Sir Mixit(s. sable) X Dorissa's Mayflower(REW, 2 Legs) = 3 healthy, 1 DOA babies born, Mar. 1st 2008 (Jersey Woolies)
I have a pink, a blue, and a smoke pearl.

Wooligans Moe(sable point) X Careys Pia(chocolate tort) = 1 healthy, 1 featal giant born, Mar. 5th 2008 (Jersey Woolies)

The othr does who are nesting are, Wooligans Party Girl, Wooligans Skyler, LeSage's Shakira and Kismet's Conejita. Cross your fingers!

This is for those who have not seen a Fetal Giant. Picture is slightly graphic.

Fetal Giants are about 2-3x larger than a normal kit. If this case this baby was 2x bigger than its littermate. In the picture it is shown next to a quarter.

Photobucket

By the mouth you can see a dark purple spot. Thats the toungue. From what I've heard this is due to suffocation in the birth canal, basically saying that the doe had problems getting the kit out in time for its first breath, therefore some sort of drowning.

I've had Fetal Giants bigger than this one, but I have to say out of some of the fetal giants I've had this one is pretty big, not to mention the doe probably weighs in a little more than 2 lbs and no more than 2.5 lbs.

On the bright side, heres the fotunate kit. Fat and healthy. =]

Photobucket

Good luck to everyone else with babies due! =P

Misc. Rabbit Pics

Here are a few rabbit pictures I've taken today. =P

Here is WWR Abbygail- REW Senior Doe with 2 Legs. She's also Registered. I love her position. She's beautiful.
Photobucket

Then Wooligans Hamlet- Black Otter Senior Buck with 11 Legs. Registered Grand Champion. He's being a ham as always and wanting some head scratches.
Photobucket

Somebody got a new hair style today... and its too good of a job for myself to be the stylist! Carey's Pia pulled a bunch of wool and gave her self a mohawk. Last time I checked the poor thing was doing "touch ups". Then she started shivering. Poor little girl!
Photobucket

Mayflower's babies are a few days old now and showing colors. Looks like I have a pink, a blue, and a smoke pearl. =P
Photobucket

All I have to report today! The other Cal babies are doing great. I fostered a couple off to Kitty who lost her litter. =[

Rabbits For Sale

Every show I attend I have 3-5 people asking if I have woolies available. I do, accually, but however I don't bring them to the shows. If your one of those people, heres a perfect opperitunity to get some nice buns! I'm selling these guys do to myself getting sicknesses from stress. I have a herd of 50 or so buns and I think that may be a little too much. So I've made a sales list of buns I really don't want to sell but can let go from having sons/daughters, cousins, aunts/uncles, parents, whatever the reason is. I also have a couple I don't have anything related to them and I wanted to bring their type/line into my herd. However, this would take a couple generations so I can get the line going for consistancy. I don't have any time for that or patience at the moment. I need to cut down as soon as possible.

Here is a list of what is available at the moment. I have several does due soon and some babies born already. Let me know if you'd be interested in those. =]

I'm no hair stylist!

Yesterday, I went out and groomed up some of the bunnies. But not only that, I "sheared" a couple of them too. Currently, we don't have a pair of clippers. So I have to use scissors. Haha, not to mention the definition of "Sheared".

SHEARED- adj. Shaped or finished by shearing, especially cut or trimmed to a uniform length.

Well, I can't call it "shearing" cause its deffinantly not a uniform legth. Its uneven, and long in some spots. =P

Now, for the embarrassment, here's WWR Highfives (fawn junior doe).

Before.

After.

Sleeptalker also got a hair-cut but I didn't get picture of him. =[
